That didn't take too long, even if Reimu is insanely overpowered. I've only recently started to warm up to the mechanics now that I better understand what the hell is going on.

Well, this was unexpected. I play Mystic Square on GBN as an April Fools joke and proceed to get my first Normal 1cc of a PC-98 game. You'd think it would have been easier for me, but having barely played them, there's a lot of nerves going on in this run. I hate to say it, but I'm kind of energized to try the other shots now.

Well this was unexpected! A fellow viewer got his Lunatic 1cc earlier today (see https://www.touhouachievements.com/Achievement/View/782), so after like six months of not even playing the game, I started doing attempts again. After 15 minutes or more of getting nowhere, I finally got a good run. That combined with a stacked deck was enough to put me over the edge for a classic zero-resource clear.

Game: Fantastic Danmaku Festival Part II

Difficulty: Hard

Shot: Reimu

I had a good feeling about this attempt, as yesterday I got to Yuyuko's third to last spell on a pretty busted run. Today's run was super smooth until stage 5 but I still had enough resources left to pull out the 1cc. I don't like the soul-recapturing card on Hard. I don't know what keeps hitting me. Ah well.

Normal Youmu Otter 1-Miss 1cc

Game: Wily Beast and Weakest Creature

Difficulty: Normal

Shot: Youmu Otter

Goodness gracious. I know that Normal is on the easier side (or rather you're overpowered to compensate for a probably above average base game), but Youmu Otter is something else. I can't handle Youmu at all in TD but here her tools are so amped up by the spirits. The one death I got was accidental on top of it because I misjudged where arrows were. I might have a shot to stick with if I ever want to attempt Lunatic.
